The Cobbler

In a New York neighborhood that has seen better days, Max Simkin, a generational cobbler, leads a monotonous and lonely life, surrounded by the same daily routines in his small workshop. With his business in decline and a heavy past, Max finds little comfort in his work, until one day he discovers an old sewing machine that belonged to his family. Upon using it, he stumbles upon a mysterious magical ability: by wearing other people's shoes, he transforms into them.

The Guest

The life of the Peterson family takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious soldier, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in the war, arrives at their doorstep. David, the charismatic military man, quickly earns the parents’ trust and the daughter's sympathy, but it soon becomes evident that his presence is not merely an act of kindness. As David integrates into the family's daily life, he begins to protect them from various perceived threats, demonstrating skills that go beyond the ordinary.

The Giver
