In a small town in Texas, the residents find themselves living in constant fear when a genetic experiment at a local lab unleashes a plague of mutant bats. As the creatures begin to attack the population, the mayor and local authorities are forced to take action.
The plot follows bat expert Dr. James "Jim" McCabe, who is called in to investigate the strange plague. With the help of his former partner, field biologist and nocturnal creature specialist Dr. Sheila Casper, their goal becomes clear: to stop these terrifying animals or risk the town turning into a feast of terror. As the bats wreak havoc, the scientists must unravel the mystery behind their murderous behavior and find a way to eradicate them before it's too late.
