In a working-class neighborhood of London, two teenagers, Jamie and Ste, navigate the complicated stage of youth while discovering their identity and feelings in an environment that is not always understanding. Jamie is a sensitive boy with a hidden love for his friend Ste, who struggles under the pressure of an aggressive father and an uncertain future. Everything changes when Ste moves in with Jamie after a fight with his father, giving them the opportunity to get to know each other more deeply.

Everyday life intertwines with moments of tenderness and confusion as both boys navigate their feelings. In the midst of this, Jamie's mother, a caring but somewhat neglectful woman, serves as an unexpected loving refuge, always ready to offer support and wisdom with a touch of humor and reality. However, the path to acceptance is not easy; they must confront both their own insecurities and the expectations and prejudices of those around them.

As their relationship deepens, the boys experience a mix of joy and anguish, celebrating love in the face of adversity. Set against a backdrop of 90s music and culture, this challenging and moving story captures the essence of what it means to love and be loved. With a magical backdrop of hope and self-discovery, the journey of these young men becomes a celebration of the beauty of true love.
