In a beautiful 19th-century English countryside, a young black horse narrates his own story, from his birth to his misadventures with different owners. Raised in a mansion with love and care, the protagonist feels for the first time the warmth of a home and the affection of a young girl named Joe. However, happiness does not last forever, and the horse's life takes an abrupt turn when his owner loses his fortune and must sell him.

There begins a series of encounters with a variety of characters: some kind, others cruel. Through the eyes of the noble animal, the viewer witnesses the highs and lows of life in an era when the abuse and exploitation of horses were commonplace. The protagonist endures heartbreaking experiences as a cab horse, where he must withstand the harshness and indifference of his new owners. However, he also crosses paths with people who appreciate his nobility and treat him with respect.

The story progresses, showcasing the horse's unwavering resilience and his desire to be loved, while immersing us in a world filled with emotions, colors, and breathtaking landscapes. In the end, the protagonist must find his way to a new home where he can experience true friendship and freedom. This moving tale is a tribute to the special connection between humans and animals, a lesson in empathy and dignity that we all deserve.
