In a suburban neighborhood of Baltimore, the life of Sylvia Stickles, an apparently normal woman with a deep sense of morality, takes an unexpected turn when she suffers a car accident. After the impact, she discovers that she has developed an uncontrollable sexual desire, triggering a series of hilarious and chaotic events in her life. Sylvia, played by Tracey Ullman, decides to explore her newly discovered sexual liberation, leading her to immerse herself in the vibrant and freeing world of sex and self-expression.

The misunderstanding from her husband, portrayed by the lovable John Waters, and her daily life begin to crumble as she joins a diverse group of neighborhood characters, each with their own quirks and desires. From extravagant encounters in erotic workshops to interacting with a group of "sex addicts," Sylvia becomes a central figure in the sexual liberation movement in her community.

As her life spirals into a whirlwind of madness and uninhibited laughter, Sylvia faces opposition from those who believe that sex should be something reserved and private. However, through all the chaos, she learns to embrace who she really is and challenge social norms, leading us to an explosive and controversial comedy that explores sex, acceptance, and the quest for personal identity in a world that is often filled with prejudice.
