Elevator to the Gallows

On a rainy Parisian night, a young lover embarks on a tumultuous plan to eliminate his wife and claim her fortune. After devising a meticulous plot to murder his wealthy lover's husband, the crime seems to be a success. However, everything complicates when, in his attempt to escape, he forgets one small detail: his own fingerprint.

In a dramatic twist, his frantic getaway leads him to an elevator where he becomes trapped, turning into a prisoner of his own ambition. Meanwhile, the police begin to close in, and an unexpected witness who saw him leave the scene becomes a key piece in the crime puzzle. Simultaneously, the distraught lover anxiously awaits news from her beloved and finds herself spiraling into despair, which escalates as the hours pass.

The cat-and-mouse game intensifies, and the protagonist finds himself ensnared not only by the law but also by his own guilt and paranoia. The shadows of Paris witness his downfall, and the atmosphere of suspense becomes almost palpable. In a world where morality and ambition clash, the story serves as a chilling reminder that sometimes, the pursuit of desire can lead to the darkest precipices. The haunting music of Miles Davis adds a layer of tension that envelops the entire narrative.
