In the heart of an Italian metropolis in the 1950s, a wealthy woman, whose life seems perfect, witnesses her world crumble after the tragic death of her son. Caught in a whirlwind of grief and despair, she begins to question the meaning of her existence and the superficiality of her surroundings. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she decides to help a group of underprivileged individuals, leading her to uncover the social injustice and human misery she had always ignored.

As she immerses herself in the lives of those struggling to survive, her perspective on life changes dramatically. She becomes a passionate advocate for the voiceless and starts to reevaluate her own identity and purpose. However, this transformation sparks concern from her husband and misunderstanding from those around her, who view her as a threat to the stability and image of the family.

Caught between the expectations of her social class and her emerging desire for authenticity, the protagonist faces a profound dilemma: should she follow the established path or dare to break the chains of conformity? With a poetic and visually striking backdrop, the story explores themes such as alienation, redemption, and the search for meaning in a world in crisis, leaving the audience reflecting on the price of true humanity.
