A group of wealthy friends gathers in a mansion to enjoy an elegant dinner, filled with laughter and sophisticated conversations. However, the festive atmosphere soon turns into a disturbing labyrinth of anguish and despair when, after dinner, the guests discover they cannot leave the house. As time progresses, a strange phenomenon occurs: none of the people can cross the door, as if a supernatural force is holding them in an absurd limbo.
With each attempt to escape, tensions begin to rise and cordiality turns into rivalry. Civilization slowly crumbles as the characters, who initially appeared aristocratic and educated, start to reveal their true selves. Amid intrigues, dark secrets, and rising desperation, the struggle for survival and madness become evident. The luxuries and pleasures of civilized life collapse, leaving the group in a primitive state where they confront their own selfish and cruel nature.
The atmosphere, laden with symbolism and surrealism, invites the viewer to reflect on the individual, social class, and the barriers that isolate us. As hours turn into days, the confinement becomes a mirror of the limitations of society and the human condition. The film establishes a powerful social commentary while addressing the fragility of civilization in times of crisis.
