In the 1980s, two somewhat peculiar adventurers, a seasoned treasure hunter named Max Donigan and his fun but somewhat inept partner, an expert in relics, come up with a daring plan to locate a legendary hidden treasure. Max, always with one foot in the next adventure and the other in trouble, is drawn to the legend of an ancient Mayan city and its fabulous riches. The hunt begins in Mexico, where they soon encounter an enigmatic map that seems to be the key to unearthing the lost gold.
