In this adventure comedy, we follow Finn and Tess, a couple that was once happy but now finds themselves in the midst of a separation. Finn, a treasure-hunting enthusiast portrayed by Matthew McConaughey, is still obsessed with a legend of a sunken ship that supposedly harbors priceless treasure. Despite their breakup, the spark between them has never completely faded, and Finn decides that this is the perfect time to try to win Tess back, played by Kate Hudson.
The story takes an exciting turn when Finn discovers a clue about the treasure they have been searching for over the years. Convinced he is very close to finding it, he persuades Tess to accompany him on this adventure, reviving their old dynamics and longings. However, their antics don’t go unnoticed, and they soon find themselves being pursued not only by law enforcement but also by a dangerous rival who is also after the treasure.
As the two navigate the beautiful yet treacherous waters of the Bahamas, they are not only seeking gold but also rediscovering their love and the reasons they once came together. In a journey filled with laughter, unexpected twists, and plenty of action, they will both have to confront their pasts and decide what they truly want from each other before the treasure and their relationship become a mirage.
