In a Soviet city, a young engineer named Semyon lives a monotonous life without much excitement. However, his routine takes an unexpected turn when a strange and mischievous child appears in his life. The little boy, who seems to have been left to fend for himself, intrudes on Semyon’s daily activities, who is initially skeptical about the idea of being responsible for a child.
As Semyon tries to get rid of the boy, he starts to realize that the child has a transformative effect on his life.
