In this 1960s musical comedy, we follow the story of a young and charismatic singer named Rusty, played by Elvis Presley. Rusty leads a laid-back life in his hometown, where he spends his days singing and enjoying time with his friends. However, his carefree and fun-filled life is interrupted by an unexpected commitment: his friend, the owner of a resort, asks him to spend the weekend looking after his daughter, a beautiful but naive girl who barely knows anything about boys.
The problem is that the young girl, named Valerie, is at the age of exploration and fun, and her father has no idea that Rusty, besides being her 'guardian,' is not exactly the most responsible guy. As Rusty tries to keep her away from the temptations of nightlife and boys, he himself gets caught up in a whirlwind of romantic entanglements, fun, and, of course, a lot of vibrant musical numbers.
As the weekend progresses, Rusty realizes that he must not only protect Valerie but also discovers something he didn't expect: his own feelings for her. With a cameo of typical 1960s craziness and Elvis's infectious music, the film offers a journey full of laughs and romance as Rusty and Valerie navigate the complications of teenage love and the quest for happiness.
