In this fun and emotional animated adventure, Max Goof, the teenage son of Disney's famous dog, finds himself caught between his desire to live life to the fullest and his relationship with his father, Goofy, who is trying to be a good dad. After an awkward encounter with his crush, Roxanne, Max feels pressured to appear cool and popular, which leads him to pull a mischievous stunt that jeopardizes his self-image.
When summer vacation rolls around, Goofy decides it’s the perfect time to bond with his son and surprises him with a road trip to a famous lake for camping. Max, who just wants to spend time with Roxanne and be the center of attention, feels trapped and is forced to try to keep his plans a secret. As the journey unfolds, father and son face a series of hilarious setbacks: from encounters with a TV villain to absurd situations that test their patience and bond.
