Half Marriage

In a small town where traditions weigh like stones, the life of Ruth, a young dreamer, is shaken by an unexpected scandal. During a social event, her most cherished friendship with a charismatic violinist, Tom, becomes the center of attention when a misunderstanding arises. The intimate connection between them is interpreted by the town as a betrothal, forcing Ruth to confront the pressure of the society around her.

As rumors spread, Ruth feels trapped in a web of familial and social expectations. Her mother, anchored in traditional values, pressures her to accept a marriage of convenience with a man from her same social circle. However, her heart still yearns for the music and freedom that Tom represents. For his part, Tom, weighed down by the confusion, grapples between his career and his feelings for Ruth.

With moments of tenderness and a backdrop of melodrama, the story explores the sacrifices that people are willing to make for love and the pursuit of happiness. Amid misunderstandings and moments of revelation, both protagonists struggle to find their place in a world that seems determined to dictate their path. The quest for truth and authenticity blossoms in a narrative where the decisions of the heart clash with entrenched traditions, immersing the audience in an emotional rollercoaster of love and disillusionment.
