In a fun mix of comedy and fantasy, we follow the story of an American football quarterback, Joe Pendleton, who is at the peak of his game and on the verge of achieving glory in the sport. However, an unexpected accident sends him to the afterlife prematurely. There, an inexperienced little angel, who is in charge of guiding him, realizes he has made a big mistake and that Joe shouldn't be there just yet.

Determined to return to life, Joe manages to come back, but with one small issue: his body is no longer available. So, the little angel offers him the option to occupy the body of a deceased millionaire with a life full of complications and dangers. Accepting the proposal, Joe becomes a wealthy and enigmatic businessman named Leo Farnsworth, a man who clearly had more enemies than friends.

As he navigates his new life, Joe tries to adapt to his world of opulence and disappointments, but he cannot resist the temptation to return to football. With his irresistible charisma and innate talent, Joe not only seeks to regain his passion for the game but also to help those around him, including a beautiful and ambitious woman who is drawn to him. All of this leads to hilarious situations and unexpected dilemmas as Joe learns about love and the importance of life. Everything becomes more complicated, leaving Joe to question his true identity and his ultimate fate.
