In a small New England town in the early 20th century, daily life is shaken by the tragic death of a handsome young man, beloved by all. His unexpected disappearance leaves his mother heartbroken and his beloved, a delicate and dreamy artist, plunged into despair. Set against the backdrop of an autumn landscape, the story unfolds in a nostalgic and melancholic atmosphere, where the beauty of nature contrasts with the pain of loss.

As the community comes together to pay tribute to the deceased, buried secrets begin to surface. Rumors of a dark relationship and a possible crime shake the village, and the apparent tranquility becomes fertile ground for intrigue. The young artist, driven by her love and the need for truth, embarks on a personal quest that leads her to discover hidden facets of her beloved, as well as the moral dilemmas of those around her.

Grief, betrayal, and redemption intertwine in this poignant story, where each character confronts their own shadows. As the secrets of the past are revealed, the young woman realizes that true love can endure beyond death, but also that life continues to move forward, despite the sadness. The film culminates in a powerful message about memory, forgiveness, and the inevitability of change, leaving a lasting impression on the heart of the viewer.
