In a sunny and bustling city, a small and charming girl named Marky unexpectedly becomes a protagonist after her mother’s death. The spontaneity of her childlike nature attracts the attention of a group of gamblers, one of whom, the good-hearted but unfortunate player named Sorrowful, feels particularly captivated by her charisma. After being left in a sort of "gambling policy" during a bet, Marky becomes the amusing burden of the adult world, where she finds her place by challenging the harsh reality surrounding her.

Sorrowful, who battles his own demons and the sadness of a past filled with failures, cannot resist the joy that Marky brings into his life. Despite society's attempts to remove the girl from his side, he vows to protect her, forming a bond that transcends expectations. Together, they embark on a series of misadventures filled with laughter, tears, and touching moments.

What starts as a risky wager transforms into a celebration of innocence and friendship, as Sorrowful seeks to redeem himself before the world and discover himself through the eyes of the little girl. The story intertwines with a sense of home and the importance of family, even when least expected, showing that sometimes true wealth is found in human relationships rather than in material fortune.
