In a small and isolated village in Poland, marked by oppression and suffering, there is a convent ruled by an energetic and charismatic abbess. This place, which seems to be a refuge for many marginalized women, becomes the setting for an intense conflict between faith and madness. When a series of demonic possessions affects several of the nuns, the situation turns chaotic, leading the abbess to seek external help.

The arrival of a young priest, filled with doubts and internal conflicts, sets off a series of unsettling events. Exorcisms, visions, and the power of faith intertwine in a dangerous dance as the onslaught of apparitions and possessions threatens to dismantle the structure of the convent. As the priest delves into the dark secrets of the place, he uncovers the truth about the women recruited there and the abbess's tumultuous commitment to her divine mission.

Amidst devotion, terror, and suffering, these characters must confront their own demons, both internal and external. In an atmosphere charged with tension, they question the meaning of good and evil, as well as the fragility of reason in the face of madness. In the end, the decisions made during this tumultuous experience will mark the fate of all, leaving a profound reflection on the power of faith in times of crisis.
