Multiple Maniacs

In an underground world of chaos and provocation, a troupe of avant-garde artists plunges into madness with a show full of surprises. The story revolves around the charismatic and eccentric Lady Divine, played by the dazzling Divine, who leads her group of friends and accomplices in a series of strange and transgressive acts. On an ordinary day, while performing their unusual show at a carnival, the dynamic turns dark when Divine discovers that her boyfriend is cheating on her. This revelation sends her into a whirlwind of revenge as they explore the limits of love, betrayal, and art.

With a black humor that brushes against the absurd and the grotesque, the plot enmeshes itself in outlandish episodes ranging from orgies to scenes of unrestrained violence, all seasoned with an aesthetic that could be described as a carnival of the bizarre. Madness intensifies when Divine joins a group of criminals, transforming her performance into an orgy of crime and depravity. As events spiral out of control, the line between reality and spectacle blurs, leading the characters to a surreal climax.

This journey through the darkest and strangest side of entertainment reveals not only the director's sense of humor but also a critique of the social norms of the time. It is an unforgettable cinematic experience that challenges conventions and embodies the essence of underground cinema.
