On a Halloween night in 1959, a group of students witnesses an alien experiment gone wrong. An alien parasite escapes and hides in a quiet American town, lying dormant until the story picks up in 1986, when a group of college students searching for an adventure stumbles upon a dark secret that will change their lives forever.
Among them are inseparable friends Chris and J.C., and the charming girl Chris is in love with, Cindy. Everything seems like a typical party night until the young people accidentally unleash lethal little extraterrestrial worms that possess their victims and transform them into bloodthirsty zombies. As the night progresses, chaos ensues, and our protagonists must fight not only against the space invaders but also against the undead that take over the campus.
