In a suburb of the 1960s, a housewife named Francine finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of mediocrity and despair. Her life seems like a carousel of frustrations: a gambling-addicted husband who hardly pays her any attention, a rebellious daughter who only causes her problems, and a monotonous social life. However, everything changes when Francine discovers a dark family secret that leads her to question her reality and reconsider her existence.

Francine's world becomes even more complicated with the arrival of her mother, a toxic figure who only adds more chaos to her life. In the midst of this emotional storm, Francine encounters a mysterious lover who offers her the passion and excitement she has been missing. This new romance leads her to explore her sexuality and repressed desires, but it also unleashes a series of disastrous events that will test her sanity and determination.

This extravagant blend of comedy and melodrama, infused with a bold visual style and vibrant colors, takes the viewer on a surreal journey through Francine’s life as she struggles to free herself from the chains that bind her to her unsatisfactory existence. With a backdrop of social critique and an ironic smile, the film reveals how even in the most conservative environments, people's lives can be filled with unexpected twists and dark secrets.
