In the near future, where crime has been virtually eradicated, chaos erupts one night a year: a government event known as the Purge, during which all crimes, including murder, are legal for 12 hours. Amidst this madness, a diverse group of characters finds themselves trapped on the streets of Los Angeles, each grappling with their own demons as the city turns into a battleground.
A mother and her daughter, trying to find shelter after being stranded on the street, cross paths with a former soldier seeking revenge for the death of his son in a previous Purge. Meanwhile, a young man whose only intention is to protect his girlfriend becomes an improvised warrior on this night of horror. As the hours pass, the four are forced to join forces to survive and confront the dangers lurking in the darkness.
The violence is chilling, and the threats come not only from the purgers but also from those who believe that the only way to survive is by risking everything. Amid difficult decisions and unexpected twists, each one reveals their true nature when faced with life or death.
