Marty, a struggling screenwriter, is grappling with writer's block as he tries to write his new script titled "Seven Psychopaths." His life takes an unexpected turn when his best friend, Billy, an unemployed and somewhat unpredictable actor, gets him involved in a criminal entanglement. Billy and his colleague Hans steal the dog of a psychopathic mobster named Charlie, who is as violent as he is charismatic.
As Charlie searches for his kidnapped dog with a mix of rage and tenderness, Marty finds himself trapped in a web of madness and unexpected twists that seem straight out of his own script. Each new character that appears in the story, from eccentric killers to a captive victim, further complicates the plot. Marty’s quiet life soon transforms into a rollercoaster of danger, dark humor, and absurd situations.
While Marty tries to resolve the conflict and survive, he is forced to confront the stereotypes of his own script. The line between reality and fiction blurs, and the story becomes an exploration of insanity and creativity. On this chaotic journey, the screenwriter discovers not only the truth about the characters surrounding his life but also about himself and his ability to cope with the madness, as he fights for his freedom and that of those he loves.
