In a small, dusty town in the Old West, a shy dentist named Jesse W. Heywood decides to start a new life as a brave cowboy. However, he is much more skilled with tools to fix smiles than with a revolver. Upon arrival, he soon finds himself embroiled in a mix of slapstick humor and absurd situations, all while trying to impress the stunning yet skeptical Miss Lila, a strong and determined woman who has no time for soft types.
Life in the town is not what he expected, and he quickly finds himself surrounded by a gang of outlaws who are terrorizing the locals. Of course, Jesse feels completely unprepared to confront them, but his sense of duty drives him to try to act like a hero. With the help of some unlikely friends, including a mischievous dog and a dreaming old cowboy, Jesse plunges into the whirlwind of chaos. Each confrontation turns into a series of hilarious misunderstandings and comedic situations where the poor dentist proves that his aim is, to put it mildly, somewhat deficient.
As events unfold, Jesse must learn to trust himself and his friends, discovering that sometimes, what matters is not the aim, but the heart one puts into the fight. A classic comedy that is sure to entertain and deliver laughs at every corner.
