Shield for Murder

On a cold night in New York, a homicide detective, marked by fatigue and internal demons, becomes the protagonist of a crime that pushes him to the brink of despair. His life complicates when, after a card game that turns deadly, he finds himself entangled in a dark plan of murder driven by ambition and jealousy. Losing his moral balance, he transforms from hunter to prey, as he faces the harsh realities of life in the city.

Set against the backdrop of urban life and its bright lights, our story follows the detective as he tries to conceal his crime from the eyes of the law and his own colleagues, who remain on the lookout for clues. However, the weight of his guilt haunts him, blurring the line between what is right and what is necessary to survive in a world where betrayal lurks around every corner.

With a tense narrative that explores themes such as corruption, greed, and the internal struggle between duty and desire, the detective soon realizes that escaping his past is nearly impossible. As time runs against him, he is forced to make desperate decisions that will change his life and the lives of those around him. With a shocking ending, the story demonstrates that sometimes the true enemy is closer than one thinks, and guilt can be more destructive than any weapon.
