A quirky group of villains and anti-heroes from Belle Reve prison embarks on a suicidal mission when the United States government recruits them to carry out a secret operation on the island of Corto Maltese. Led by the ruthless and somewhat eccentric Rick Flagg, the team members include the cunning and lethal Harley Quinn, the brutal Bloodsport, and the methodical Peacemaker, among others. Each of them has unique skills, but they also come with a host of personal issues that will make teamwork, at the very least, a challenge.
The mission is to dismantle a laboratory of inhumane experiments, where atrocities are suspected to be occurring. However, what begins as a routine operation quickly turns into total chaos when they encounter a mysterious threat that endangers the entire team. Amid explosions, knife fights, and dark humor that captures the essence of madness, the villains must decide whether they truly want to save the world or, at best, save themselves.
With a fresh and carefree approach, the film combines over-the-top action with unexpected moments of emotional connection, leading the characters to question not only their loyalty but also their redemption. In the end, it's a journey where the improbable becomes possible, and where the "bad guys" have the chance to be more than just villains.
