In a charming yet turbulent world of the 1930s, a young and daring woman named Virginia finds herself caught between her strict upbringing and her desire for freedom. After the death of her mother, she rebels against the expectations of her affluent family and decides to leave her life of luxury behind. With her indomitable spirit, she becomes a wanderer, traveling across the country in search of new experiences and her own identity.

As she navigates life on the fringes of society, Virginia encounters a group of peculiar characters: a melancholic artist in search of his muse, a charming rogue who steals her heart, and a wise woman who acts as her spiritual guide. Together, they will face the ups and downs of a nomadic life, from fleeting romances to moments of deep reflection about the meaning of belonging and the true significance of freedom.

As the story unfolds, Virginia realizes that the pursuit of her own life is filled with sacrifices but also with beauty. With each encounter, she reflects on the importance of authenticity and friendship, forging relationships that challenge her previous beliefs. The film is an emotional journey that explores the concerns of youth, internal struggles, and the eternal quest for a place to call home. In the end, Virginia must decide how far she is willing to go for her own happiness and what sacrifices she is prepared to make along the way.
