In a dark apartment, Susy, a young blind woman played by Audrey Hepburn, finds herself immersed in an unexpected and distressing situation. Her life becomes complicated when a group of criminals, led by the cunning Roat, breaks into her home searching for a doll that hides a valuable stash of heroin. Taking advantage of her disability, they attempt to manipulate and confuse her, believing that her blindness makes her an easy target. However, Susy is not as vulnerable as they think.

While her husband, Sam, is out of town, Susy must use her wits and instincts to survive the growing threat. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the criminals try to make Susy hand over the doll, unaware that, despite her darkness, her mind is more alert than ever. The story plays with suspense and perception as Susy begins to recognize that her surroundings are not what they seem.

As the night progresses, the true strength of Susy emerges; the game of cat and mouse between her and her attackers intensifies. With intelligence and courage, Susy prepares to confront her captors in a battle of cunning and survival, demonstrating that even in the deepest darkness, the light of human ingenuity can shine brightly.
