On a summer night in 1962, a group of friends gather in a small Californian town where music, cars, and freedom reign in the streets. As they prepare for the imminent separation that will come with college and military service, the young people embark on a nostalgic journey through memories and dreams.

The protagonist, a boy named Curt, feels lost at the crossroads between continuing his life or sneaking away towards new opportunities. Throughout the night, he reconnects with old friends and meets new faces that encourage him to explore his desire for adventure. Amidst car races, fairground rides, and roadside chats, friendship and love emerge as central themes, while the melodies of the 60s accompany every moment.

In this vibrant portrait of youth, the uncertainty of the future intertwines with the excitement of that fleeting instant when everything seems possible. As dawn approaches, the bonds strengthen, but the reality of growing up comes to the forefront, forcing them to confront the sadness of saying goodbye. What begins as a night of fun transforms into a rite of farewell, encapsulating the essence of an era and reminding us that, although the road ahead is filled with changes, memories and camaraderie endure forever.
