On a hot day in the Moroccan desert, a group of American tourists finds themselves caught in a tragedy that transcends borders. The story unfolds when a stray bullet injures a young girl, who, along with her brother and a local guide, gets swept up in a whirlwind of unexpected consequences. Meanwhile, in the United States, the young girl’s parents, desperate for help, struggle to navigate the complexities of communication and misunderstanding in an interconnected world.

Parallel to this, we follow the story of a Japanese couple traveling to the United States. The young woman carries a tremendous emotional burden, marked by loss and isolation following her mother’s death. Her intertwined story with that of the Americans illustrates how grief transcends language and culture, connecting all the characters in ways they never could have imagined.

In another corner of the world, in Mexico, a farmer and his family confront poverty, fueled by the hope of a better life. In their pursuit to help a relative, their paths intersect with those of the tourists, and chance alters their lives forever.

With a non-linear narrative style, the film immerses you in a sea of emotions, prompting reflection on human connection and the limits that cultural barriers can impose. As the stories intertwine, a powerful message about empathy, tragedy, and redemption emerges, resonating far beyond words.
