In 1980s Ireland, an ex-boxer and IRA leader, Danny, has been secluded and distant from the life he once knew. After spending years in prison, he returns to his community, where the memories of his past haunt him. The tension between the struggle for his country’s freedom and his personal desires makes him a man trapped between two worlds.
