Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet the Invisible Man

  • Log in or register to post comments

In this wacky comedy from the 1950s, we are introduced to a pair of endearing characters: two second-rate detectives, Bud and Lou, who find themselves caught up in a series of surreal events when they cross paths with a scientist who has a small problem: he has developed a formula to make someone invisible! When they paint a portrait of a boxer who is in trouble with a malevolent opponent, the invisibility scientist decides that the only hope for the fighter is for Bud and Lou to help him.

Unintentionally, our heroes end up in a plot full of twists. With an invisible friend who is initially revealed to be a boxer, they will face a series of comedic and confusing situations as they try to unmask the villains who are also looking to take advantage of this incredible invention. The duo descends into chaos as they try to keep their existence a secret while solving the mystery behind the evil conspiracy.

Amid classic gags, hilarious misunderstandings, and a bit of romance, Bud and Lou must deal with their own fears and anxieties, yet always with their signature comedic spark. In the midst of chases and boxing matches, the friends remind us that sometimes what is hidden in plain sight can be bigger and more fun than we think. Friendship and loyalty may be invisible, but they are definitely felt. Get ready for a mix of laughs, action, and magic!
