In a small, shadowy town, a stranger arrives with an unusual spectacle that captures the attention of the curious. He is a doctor, an enigmatic and disturbing figure accompanied by his sinister assistant, a somnambulist named Cesare, who is trapped in a state of permanent trance. The doctor reveals his ability to predict the future, unleashing curiosity and fear among the townspeople.

As the story progresses, a series of murders unfold, plunging the town into a state of paranoia. Francis, a local young man, becomes the protagonist of this nightmare, determined to unmask the doctor and save his beloved, who is also in danger. His investigation leads him to uncover dark secrets, revealing a world where madness and power coexist in a visual labyrinth of shadows and distorted shapes.

With a striking artistic style that blends German expressionism with elements of psychological horror, the narrative keeps the audience on the edge of their seat, questioning reality and madness. Each plot twist intertwines with an unsettling and oppressive atmosphere until a surprising revelation challenges everything you thought you knew. In this journey into the questioning of human perception, the viewer might wonder: who is truly the monster in this dark tale?
