The End of the Day

In a retirement home for retired actors, a group of theater veterans faces the imminent arrival of the twilight of their lives. Among them is Pierre, an aging matinee idol in crisis, struggling with loneliness and nostalgia for his past. His world is shaken when a young actress arrives, full of dreams and vibrant energy, challenging the routines and sorrows of her companions. As the arrival of this new figure transforms the group's dynamics, the characters reveal their fears, desires, and secrets in this emotional refuge where memories flow like wine during their nightly dinners.

As Pierre begins to experience a resurgence of his creative spirit through his interactions with the girl, he must also confront the shadows of his past decisions and the reality of an uncertain future looming over him and his friends. The atmosphere becomes both festive and melancholic, reflecting the struggle between the desire to relive past glories and the acceptance of the present. Drawn by the fragility of life, these characters must find a way to reconcile their withered dreams with the inevitability of time. As tensions rise and rivalries emerge, it becomes a journey of redemption, where human connection intertwines with the search for meaning in the final stretch of their careers and their lives.
