Four friends, trapped in the monotony of their adult lives, decide to escape to a ski resort in the mountains they used to visit in their youth. However, what begins as a simple reunion transforms into an unexpected adventure when a strange hot tub machine blasts them back to 1986. In this retro version of their lives, they all find themselves at a crossroads where they must confront their old relationships and the decisions that led them to the present they despise.
Amid laughter and a sea of craziness, the friends get a unique opportunity to relive some of the best moments of their youth while simultaneously altering the course of their futures. Adam, who has just been dumped by his girlfriend, reconnects with what could have been his love life. Nick, a success in modern life, feels uncomfortable in his own skin, while Jacob, the youngest of the group, must overcome his shyness with girls. Additionally, the group must navigate various eccentric characters from the '80s, including a younger version of one of them who feels lost in time.
With nostalgia, raunchy jokes, and absurd situations, the movie explores friendship, maturity, and the decisions that define our lives, all while reminding us that sometimes, the best thing to do is leave the past where it belongs.
