The Idiot

In a society that clings to appearances and status, a young man with an innocent spirit and a pure heart becomes the center of attention after returning from a long exile abroad. His arrival brings with it an air of freshness and honesty that brutally contrasts with the hypocrisy and intrigues of the elite. As he navigates the dark secrets of his family and the social circles around him, he falls in love with a woman trapped in an unhappy marriage, triggering a chain of tragic events.

The protagonist, often regarded as a "fool" for his naivety, begins to question the corruption and superficiality of the world around him, exposing the most painful truths about human nature. With his idealistic vision, he confronts the anger and frustration of those who benefit from the status quo. When relationships start to crumble and tensions rise, he finds himself caught in a whirlwind of passion, betrayal, and despair that leads him to an inevitable outcome.

This story explores how purity and honesty can be seen as weaknesses in a world that values the opposite. With a melancholic and reflective tone, the film delves into the struggle between idealism and harsh reality, leaving the viewer questioning what it truly means to be "a fool" in a world full of falsehoods.
