When 11-year-old Casey, a young girl feeling lonely and lost, suffers the tragic loss of her mother, she feels more adrift than ever. In a desperate attempt to find some joy in her life, she decides to perform a ritual with a doll of her beloved action figure, Eve, who is the star of her favorite show. What Casey doesn’t expect is for her wish to come true: Eve comes to life as a dazzling and wild woman (played by Tyra Banks), ready to help Casey confront her pain and begin to smile again.

At first, the lively Eve brings a spark of joy to Casey’s life, with her outrageous ideas and enthusiasm for living. However, the fun doesn’t last forever. It isn’t long before Casey realizes that Eve has a somewhat excessive personality that not only pushes her out of her comfort zone but also starts to interfere with her personal relationships and daily life.

As Casey tries to balance her friendship with her new “toy mother” while keeping up with school and her friends, she begins to discover lessons about love, loss, and true friendship. As the story unfolds, both of them must learn to find a place in each other’s world, culminating in an emotional decision that will change their lives forever. From laughter to tears, this adventure shows that sometimes, magic can be found in the most unexpected places.
