In a small Japanese village, a young boy named Kintaro dreams of becoming a great judo fighter. Since he was little, he has admired martial arts masters, and determined to follow in their footsteps, he enrolls in a local judo school. However, Kintaro is not just a boy with dreams; he is also somewhat clumsy and awkward, which leads to constant defeats and mockery from his peers. But instead of getting discouraged, Kintaro becomes obsessed with improving and dedicates himself to training tirelessly.

Along the way, he crosses paths with an enigmatic woman, also a fighter, who becomes his mentor and guide. She teaches him that beyond physical strength, true power lies in the mind and the heart. With her help, Kintaro begins to develop not only his combat skills but also his character, learning valuable lessons about friendship, perseverance, and honor.

As he progresses on his journey, Kintaro faces increasingly greater challenges, from rivalries with other fighters to internal conflicts about what it truly means to be a champion. The story culminates in a judo tournament where Kintaro must confront his fears and prove how much he has grown not only as a fighter but as a person. With a backdrop full of emotions, laughter, and action, this tale is a tribute to human resilience and the indomitable spirit.
