In the context of the Jazz Age of the 1920s, two musicians, Joe and Jerry, find themselves caught up in a thrilling plot after witnessing a violent crime committed by the mob. To escape the imminent threat, they decide to disguise themselves as women and join a female orchestra headed to Florida. With new names like Josephine and Daphne, the two friends immerse themselves in a world of glamour and confusion, where the rules of the game are completely transformed.

While trying to keep their identities secret, Joe falls in love with the charming Marilyn, a stunning blonde with dreams of finding the ideal man. Jerry, on the other hand, begins to attract the unwanted attention of an eccentric millionaire who becomes infatuated with his female alter ego. As the situations become increasingly hilarious and chaotic, the two musicians find themselves at a crossroads between love, friendship, and survival.

Laughter multiplies when the mob starts to suspect them. With time running against them, Joe and Jerry must confront their feelings and decide how far they will go to protect their new lives and each of their hearts. Amidst entanglements, witty jokes, and a myriad of misunderstandings, this story evolves into a timeless classic that challenges social conventions and reminds us of the madness and beauty of love in all its forms.
