Swing Kids

In 1940s Germany, a group of young people with an overflowing passion for music and dance finds itself at the epicenter of a historical whirlwind. These kids, known as the "Swing Kids," rebel against the Nazi regime through their love for swing, a forbidden style of music that symbolizes freedom and individuality in a world that tries to enforce uniformity. As they clandestinely gather to dance and express their rebellious spirit, they forge bonds of friendship and camaraderie that challenge the oppression surrounding them.

Among them is a charismatic young man named Peter and his best friend, Thomas, who find themselves caught at a crossroads between their artistic passions and the harsh reality enveloping them. As repression intensifies, Thomas feels pressured by his family and the regime, leading him to make difficult choices that threaten to separate his friends. What begins as pure fun to the rhythm of jazz soon turns into a struggle for their lives and their beliefs.

Torn between loyalty and friendship, between the rhythm of swing and military marches, the protagonists must find their way in a world where music becomes an act of resistance. The story explores universal themes such as friendship, sacrifice, and the fight for freedom in dark times, reminding us that even amidst adversity, art can shine as a beacon of hope.
