In this charming romantic comedy, we follow the life of an apparently ideal couple, John and Alice, who find themselves in a curious dilemma. Leading the married life has brought them happiness, but there’s a small complication: they want to have a baby. As they seek to expand their family, they realize that not everything is as easy as it seemed.

The plot thickens, and what begins as a joyful journey into parenthood turns into a series of hilarious situations and misunderstandings. John ventures into the unusual world of adoption, where he encounters a cast of peculiar characters, including a somewhat eccentric adoption lawyer and other prospective parents who add a touch of chaos to the situation.

With the comedic tension that arises from their failed attempts, the couple must navigate social and personal obstacles, as well as confront their own insecurities about parenthood. Both are forced to reconsider their relationship and desires while trying to find a way towards the family they so long for.

Throughout the film, themes such as love, parenthood, and the complexity of relationships are explored, all seasoned with the characteristic humor of the era, keeping viewers laughing and reflecting on the true meaning of being a family.
