Blast from the Past

In the 1960s, a brilliant scientist and his wife decide to build a bunker in their backyard, fearing a nuclear apocalypse. After an accident in their home, the couple becomes trapped for 35 years, raising their son, Adam, in a world of fear and extreme protection. As Adam reaches adolescence, his parents reveal the truth about the outside world and, following his father's death, suggest that it's time for him to explore life beyond their bubble.

When Adam steps out for the first time in 1999, he is dazzled by a world he never imagined. From his quirky clothing to his outdated manners, he feels completely out of place. However, his natural charm and curiosity lead him to collide with the modern reality of Los Angeles. It is there that he meets Eve, a dynamic woman who not only shows him the current way of life but also becomes his guide in a society full of surprises.

As Adam learns to integrate into this new world, his relationship with Eve deepens. Through misunderstandings and comedic moments, Adam must balance his life between the old-world education from his parents and the future he feels he could have with Eve. The film mixes romance, comedy, and a touch of nostalgia, presenting questions about family, love, and the true meaning of home.
