Amid the hustle and bustle of a shadowy New York, a mysterious old man named Professor Rene hides a dark secret in his Bowery home. Under the facade of a benevolent benefactor, he aids the downtrodden and marginalized of the neighborhood, providing shelter to those who have lost everything. However, appearances can be deceiving, as night falls, his home transforms into a disturbing laboratory where macabre experiments come to life.

The inhabitants of this place, eager for redemption, find themselves caught in a whirlwind of horror when they discover that the professor is using their bodies and souls to resurrect the dead. Among these characters is a fugitive criminal whose curiosity leads him to uncover the truth behind the old man's activities. As bodies begin to rise and chaos ensues, the residents of the Bowery are forced to fight for their lives and unravel the mystery surrounding the professor.

With unexpected twists and a palpable atmosphere of tension, a looming threat hangs over them as they try to escape the chilling fate that awaits. Featuring a cast of complex characters and a backdrop that evokes both fear and compassion, this dark tale becomes a journey that intertwines human despair with the supernatural, leaving viewers questioning what it truly means to be "alive."
