In this romantic comedy, we find the story of a guy named Chris Brander, who has suffered for years from his love addiction and a broken heart. During his adolescence, he was the chubby kid in love with his best friend, Jamie. Things didn’t go as he expected, and after an awkward rejection, Chris decides to leave his past behind, transforming into an attractive and successful music executive in Los Angeles.
Years later, after a series of romantic misadventures and a social life filled with superficiality, Chris is forced to return to his hometown for the holidays.
