In an unexpected twist of fate, a journalist from New York finds himself trapped in a peculiar village that seems to have been lifted straight from a fairy tale. While investigating a case about opinion polls, what initially appeared to be a straightforward job transforms into a surreal experience. This quaint place presents its inhabitants as a kind of ideal reflection of American society, where everyone shares the same opinion and overflowing happiness. However, what begins as a charming observation soon turns into a complicated labyrinth.

The protagonist, with his curious spirit, begins to notice that this seemingly perfect village has its own shadows. As he delves into the lives of its residents, he uncovers secrets and tensions that threaten to unravel the illusion of harmony. With a mix of comedy and drama, the story unfolds as the journalist falls in love with one of the locals, who also longs to discover a world beyond the borders of the village.

With each revelation, the protagonist must question his own values and the concept of "public opinion" within a society where conformity reigns. Ultimately, he will be forced to choose between the comfort of uniformity and the complexity that comes with diversity, all while struggling to find his place in a world that clearly isn’t as magical as it seems. All of this is spiced up with a touch of romance and a reflection on what it truly means to be happy!
