In a not-so-distant future, a group of soldiers from the Gulf War is captured and subjected to brutal conditions by an unknown enemy. During their imprisonment, they undergo extreme mind manipulation, programmed to turn them into obedient automatons. Years later, Sergeant Ben Marco returns home with recurring nightmares about those days of captivity. Convinced that there is something more sinister behind his memories, he begins to investigate what really happened during his time in captivity and soon realizes that he not only fought against enemy forces but also fell victim to a psychological experiment.

Meanwhile, his unitmate, the decorated politician Raymond Shaw, hailed for his heroism, finds himself caught in a chilling web of intrigue and conspiracy. As Marco delves deeper into his investigation, he discovers that the mind manipulation extends far beyond them and is linked to a dark plot to control power in the upper echelons of government. With Shaw's life and the future of American democracy at stake, Marco must unravel the truth before it's too late. The film navigates between suspense and political satire, exploring themes of manipulation, loyalty, and the true cost of war, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats as a plot unfolds that challenges the perception of reality.
