In a city filled with monotony and routine, Stanley Ipkiss, a shy and clumsy bank employee, leads a rather boring life. His low self-esteem makes him feel invisible, especially around the attractive reporter Tina Carlyle, who works at a nightclub. Everything changes when Stanley discovers a mysterious mask that unleashes his true potential.
