In a quiet and forgotten city in California, a man named Gary, along with his girlfriend Mary, decides to take a trip to Los Angeles to celebrate their tenth anniversary. However, Gary has a secret he hasn't shared: he is a huge fan of the Muppets, especially his friend Kermit. As they explore the city, Gary discovers that the old Muppet studio is in danger of being demolished by a greedy magnate named Tex Richman, who plans to extract oil from the site.
Determined to save the legacy of his fuzzy friends, Gary decides to gather the original Muppet cast to organize a big show and raise the necessary funds. As they progress, laughter and nostalgia fill their journey, full of funny antics and heartwarming moments that remind everyone of the power of friendship.
