After a series of hilarious and sometimes disastrous adventures as a mall security guard, Paul Blart decides it's time for a vacation. This year, he's heading to Las Vegas to attend a security convention. After so many escapades in his previous job, Paul longs for a bit of fun and, why not, a little recognition. However, fate has other plans for him.
Upon arriving in the bright and noisy Sin City, he quickly realizes that fun isn't the only thing lurking around every corner. A group of clever criminals is plotting to steal a valuable piece of art from the hotel hosting the convention. When Paul gets dragged into the situation, his sharpened protective instinct and unwavering determination make him an unlikely hero once again.
With his daughter, who is accompanying him and finding her own way in life, by his side, Paul must use his wit, some security guard tricks, and of course, his signature humor to stop the thieves.
