Portrait of Jennie

In 1930s New York, a young artist in search of inspiration finds himself trapped in the monotony of daily life. When he meets a mysterious girl named Jennie, everything changes. Her presence in his life is like a ray of light; Jennie is vibrant, full of life, and, strangely enough, there seems to be an air of nostalgia around her, as if she lives in a different time. As their relationship develops, it becomes clear that Jennie is not just a muse but harbors a deep secret: she seems to fade in and out of existence in a time loop, always just beyond his reach.

The artist becomes obsessed with capturing the essence of Jennie in his work, but each encounter becomes more frustrating as he begins to realize that his beloved is trapped between the past and the present. The story evolves into a poignant exploration of love and art; as he paints portraits of Jennie, she becomes both his source of inspiration and his downfall.

As reality intertwines with the supernatural, the connection between them intensifies, prompting him to confront questions about time, reality, and sacrifice. The tension between the ephemeral and the eternal culminates in a heartbreaking conclusion that defies logic, leaving the viewer reflecting on the price of true love and the power of art. It is a love story that transcends time, beautifully told with a hint of mystery.
